WE'RE ENGAGED!!

So last night, Dec. 21, W got on a knee in the comfort of our home and asked me to marry him. It was so beautiful and very appropriate for the people we are. Of course I said yes, after I asked him a million times if he was serious because I didn't believe him! haha! So we've decided on either July 31 or Aug 1, depending on when a venue is open. We're both very excited. Oh! and here's a picture of my GORGEOUS 1 karat ring!!

Tomorrow...

He will be home!!! I'm beyond excited. I've even got to the point of counting down HOURS now. we have 27 hours left!!! WAHOOO!!!!!! He gave up his bag to take to the airport early today, but that's about all I know. All we've really talked about is how excited we are!!! :D It happens to be like the SLOWEST day in history at work here. I think I've got a total of like 3 calls in the 2.5 hours I've been here. I mean usually that's a blessing, but when you want time to move a little faster, not so much. I tried playing bejeweled, which usually occupies my time quite nicely, but since I'm the high scorer right now, there's not much of a goal to reach.. It's rather depressing! I have the blanket to work on, but we're not allowed to work on it until we move over to be operators and that's not for another 45 minutes! BAH! I'm about to go on break though. I'm not sure how that will occupy my time any better, but hey, I'll give it a shot.

I finished cleaning the house today. It was great. The kitchens clean, just gotta put the dishes away. I got a load in the washer, which I now remember I was supposed to move that over, so I'll do that when I get home. I've vacuumed, wrapped his presents, swept the kitchen, changed the sheets... I'm plum out of things to do. good thing I'll be working at 1 tomorrow so I won't have to fill so much empty time! Agh!

Anywho, I guess me writing this was really more of a time taker upper. Off to break...

One week..

Well, we're officially down to a week and I don't think either of us could get any more excited. And if you want to get technical, we're actually on 6 days right now! He gets in a 9:17 pm on the 18th, but he has a 4 hour layover in seattle, so he's going to see if he can get on a sooner flight into here! That'd be SWEEEET.

In other news Jessa had her second baby boy on the 9th at 2:49 am. He was about 5.5 weeks early and weighed in at 5 lbs 14 oz! He is just the most precious thing I've ever seen! He looks just like Will when he was just a little nugget. I haven't got to see him in person yet, just pictures since he was in the NICU for monitoring, but he's being released tomorrow so I get to go see him! I'm really excited!

I haven't been working out and it constantly weighs on my mind. I would love to go back, I just go and it doesn't feel good anymore. I'm hoping after I get this BIG dose of W I'll feel a lot better and want to go back more often. I think I just kind of felt short changed before. Only getting to see him 11 hours and all... I'm just going to bust my butt until he comes home for good at the end of March and I hope to really shock him! :P

My mom's blanket is coming along. I'm SOOO glose, yet SOOOO far away! out of 80 flowers I've done 65, so 15 more big flowers to go and all the fillers and border and such. I'm sure I'll get it done before Christmas, I'll just take it on the plane with me... maybe. I may be a little too preoccupied ;) I think what I'll do is just keep it at work and work on it here, since I'll still have to work while w is home, at least for a little bit :)

What else... not a whole lot. I was just telling a friend, I wish I had TONS to do, but I don't. I'm going to see the baby tomorrow. I have to mail out W's patches and crest first so he can wear them home, then Sunday my old boss just asked me to go to dinner or lunch with her. I may go to the gym that day, but other than that I just want to clean the house really good. I think I want to do the majority that day so I can just keep it clean and picked up until he comes home and maybe do some light cleaning right before, nothing too serious.

We're heading to Ohio for Christmas! Yay! We leave the 23rd! That's in 12 days. The only thing I'm scared of is that with all the traveling and all the stuff going on I'm afraid it'll make time go by really fast and that's the LAST thing I want!

Well, it's back to the blanket! I gotta get going on it!
