A few things...

So, I dreamt... but i don't remember them! UGH! I remember them right away, but come the morning I no longer remember them! What the heck!

Also, I want to start actually doing a blog everyday about my sweet baby Layla. :) She really does light up my every day. I want to just do a quick blog if anything everyday to remember what she was like then, what she was doing, you know? So I'm really going to try!

CRAWLING!

No freaking way! My baby is now crawling! I say crawling now because she actually does THE MOTION. She doesn't do it all the time and she is by no means good at it yet, but she does it! everytime i try to get it on camera she doesn't do it and then when i'm no where near where a camera, she does it perfectly. if you're a parent, you know how this goes... I just can't believe how fast they grow. it's sooo cliche. EVERY parent says this and you say, "yeah, I know... I can't believe it" (speaking about other peoples children) but then, when it's yours, it's like you REALLY can't believe it!! Anyway, we had a great visit to California to see my dad and I'll put some pictures in here. Have a great holidays y'all!!

Dream numero quatre - Gondeks and weirdo dream

Ok, so apparently I'm the absolute worst at remembering dreams, so I've been typing out small blurbs on my phone after I wake up. Because of my lack of memory I'm only considering this one dream until I can remember something a little more elaborate. So... I'll type out what I wrote, then try to remember more about it.

So the first one I wrote "Gondek's checkbook has a lot of money." I don't remember a whole lot from this, but I remember looking at their checkbook and Jess got paid $1800 and after they paid everything they had to pay he still had $1500. I was completely baffled! HAHA! How weird. Why was I thinking about the Gondek's checkbook or the amount of money they make? Who knows!

Second one is "Flying to Cali, dad flying to Idaho, having Layla. Did great. Dad kept disappearing." Ok, now seriously? What the heck does this mean. I unfortunately do not remember a speck of this dream, but it's weird to think that I actually dreamt this! I'm sure I dreamt this because I have been thinking and stressing about this trip for a while. Flying alone with a 5 month old is not my idea of a good time, but we'll make it.

Anyway, there's my dreams! :)

Dream numero dos... and three (i don't know how to spell in spanish so i give up)

Ok, so oddly enough I VAGUELY remember my dream from last night. Actually I had 2 dreams. The first one all I remember was I was talking to Jess Gondek. That's all...

Second one, oh poop, I can't remember what it was now! Son of a gun! Well, at least I got one dream down :)

Dream numero uno - Mr. Nick Sorum

As part of our day zero project, it is my job to write down dreams I remember for a week. I don't normally remember dreams, but I just remembered the one I had last night, so I figured I'd write it down and try to remember the others I have, if I have any.

So last night I dreamt that somewhere I met up with my friend Nick Sorum. He unfortunately took his life 3 years ago and I think about him often. At any rate, I got to talk to him. It was great. We talked about how he was in heaven and I remember wanting to ask him if there was a God or what God was like. We had a nice talk, but I can't remember what all it was about. I just remember he was the same Nick I always knew. I woke up knowing he was okay and that was enough for me.

AGH!! I alllmost missed the cut off!! I was going to do a real post, but I don't have time. I will here in a couple days to document miss Layla's speedy growing up. Jessa and I are doing a 5k tomorrow and I'm excited!! :)

WOW! Almost missed my August blog!!

Well, August has been full of fun! Jaime and I celebrated Elvis Presley day for day zero project, my little miss is about to turn 3 months (WTH?!) and I've got my photography business going FULL TIME! All the kids are back in school and Kenzie went to her first day of Kindegarten today, which was so cool! I went and saw her before she left and she was so so so excited. I love seeing that excitement on small children. So it was just me and Addy all day today, which was very odd. I've had both girls for a year now and to have just one is just plain weird.

As far as the business goes I've had some good business. I have about 6 or 7 shoots set up for now. I have a few prospective ones as well. I have a couple seniors, a couple families and some kids! I love it! Fall is definitely setting upon us though, it's cooling off and it's been RAINING. BOO!

My little baby girl is going to be THREE months in 2 days. I can not believe it. :( She's growing up right before our eyes. She full on laughs now. It's rather amusing and definitely contagious! She stands up with assistance all the time, she takes naps regularly and sleeps through the night except to get up to eat, which she's been doing pretty much since she was born. She takes all her naps up in her crib so we'll try to transition just to the crib after she goes down to 1 feeding a night. I wouldn't mind that, but 2 feedings would just be a PITA! :)

Other than that, the husband and I are doing great. Talking about baby number 2... JUST KIDDING! HAHA! I haven't even had my IUD in 6 weeks! haha! We'll see when we're going to have our next one... We will see...
